In contemporary society, it has become a prevalent trend for successful people to possess strong wills. Meanwhile, a host of teachers and parents encourage or advocate students to pursue this quality. Taking a look around, we can find a great many examples like this: quitting smoking is the easiest thing, but without a stroung will, hundreds of smokers fail.

第二段：意义

§A large number of people favor pursuing strong wills. In their eyes, a strong mind will enhance their over-all development and competitiveness, because pursuing with a strong mind will enrich their knowledge and broaden their horizons.

§Others hold a view that doing anything without stroung wills may carry some risks. For example, quitting smoking calls for plenty of time, energy, and even money; however,without strong minds, the result of quitting is not always as satisfactory as expected.

§By and large, I am convinced that the advantages derived from strong willsfar outweigh our expectation. Without this virtue, it is impossible for anyone to have more opportunities to pursue more and greater success. Therefore, individuals are advisable to strengthen their wills.
